Search functions in the Heepsy Business Plan

Heepsy’s basic filters allow you to search according to followers, category or location. The Business Plan incorporates these plus two more important filters.

The engagement filter lets you set the engagement score (from very low to suspiciously high) or the engagement rate as a percentage. Remember, engagement rate shows the level of interaction between an influencer and their followers.

The contact filter allows you to search for only those influencers who have public email addresses or other social networks. You can also choose to see or hide business accounts. Or, see only Instagram verified accounts.

Influencer profiles & reports

Search results in Heepsy take the form of influencer profiles. On their profile, get basic information about an influencer’s metrics:

  • Engagement rate 
  • Photo/video most metrics
  • Follower growth rate
  • Post frequency
  • Comments/likes ratio
  • Followers/following ratio

If you want information about the influencer’s audience and branded content, you have to open their influencer report. Look for the unlock button at the top right of the influencer’s profile. With the Business Plan, you have access to 100 influencer reports per billing cycle.

Reports show you audience demographics like age, gender, location, language and interests. They also offer the audience authenticity metric, based on an analysis of suspicious behavior that may be coming from bots. Moreover, get stats on branded content the influencer has posted in the past.

Customizable Lists

Heepsy has a built-in way for you to stay organized: lists. Create lists for your campaign, add influencers, and easily compare them. You can also add ratings, statuses and comments. Lists are also an easy way to check which influencers’ reports you’ve opened. 

Furthermore, with the Business Plan, you can download an XLS or CSV file with all the info about the influencers in your list.

How can you optimize your Heepsy Business Plan experience?

We’ve compiled a list of tips to help you get the most out of your Business Plan. 

Prioritize engagement

Engagement rate is one of the most important metrics in influencer marketing. It shows the connection between an influencer and their audience. And the greater of a connection they have between them, the better for your brand. And since the Business Plan includes the engagement filter, you can prioritize engagement from the very beginning of your influencer search. 

So for example, you can search for influencers with very high engagement to find those that really connect with their audience. Further, Heepsy also warns you when an influencer’s engagement is suspiciously high, which may be due to fake likes or comments.

And don’t be surprised if your search results for high engagement show influencers who have relatively few followers. Nano and micro influencers, with between 1K – 50K followers, generally have the highest engagement rates. Due to this, they can be powerful allies in influencer marketing. In fact, in 2019, 10 micro influencers were used for every mega influencer.

Export lists and streamline outreach

Heepsy’s Business Plan allows you to download your customizable lists as spreadsheets. And that means you get all the info you need about your selected influencers in one workable place.

So why is this important? Well, if you’re planning to reach out to several influencers at once, this can help you organize your outreach. Pull the influencers’ emails from the spreadsheet to contact them individually. Or, automate your outreach to save some time. Be prepared and work decisively

This tip goes for any Heepsy plan. Reports stay open for 30 days from the day you first unlock it. So in order to get the most out of them, work swiftly and decisively to avoid having to open them again.

Tips for doing this? Well, it really starts at the beginning. Make sure your campaign is well-defined. Establish your goals, budget, target audience and lay out your strategy for making all of those elements work together toward success. 

And before searching, reflect a bit on how you’ll go about contacting influencers and negotiating with them. Maybe draft up a template you’ll use to reach out. And make sure you know how much you can offer each influencer as incentive.

Shortlist influencers, then check their audience/authenticity

As we said above, reports stay open for 30 days. However, you can still get a good sense of the influencer before you open their report. Analyze their other stats first. Don’t forget you can use lists to easily compare influencers to one another. 

Once you have some options that look attractive, unlock their reports to see their audience demographics, audience authenticity and branded mentions. This way, you don’t open reports of influencers who suffer in areas like engagement or follower growth.

Audience demographics and authenticity both help you ensure that the influencer’s audience matches your target audience. And brand mentions can show you past examples of collaboration content, as well as its total likes, total comments and average engagement.
