Zuhura Othman Soud (born 22 November 1993) is a Tanzanian musician, songwriter, and performer signed to Diamond Platnumz's music company, WCB Wasafi. Zuchu is the daughter of Tanzanian legendary Taarab musician, Khadija Kopa, who inspired her to pursue a career in music, along with her late brother Omar Kopa. Zuchu began singing at a young age, considering that she hails from a musical family. She broke into the music world in 2015 with the first edition of Tecno Own The Stage in Lagos, Nigeria, where she was one of the competition’s finalists. She is without a doubt Tanzania's most promising artist at the moment, having topped the African charts on various platforms with her hit solo single "Sukari," which has over 70 million views on YouTube, becoming the most-watched song in Sub-Saharan Africa in 2021 and the first female artiste in Sub-Saharan Africa to clock over 1 million views on YouTube within 22 hours through her the same song, Sukari.
