after a near 30 year gap i fancied building a layout that is loosely based around Truro in cornwall around my childhood days of the 70s and 80s BR blue era with a bit of steam seeing as it was withdrawn the year before i was born!!!!! Penwithers is home of the class 52 Westerns being one of my favourite locos ,have had the good fortune to actually drive Western Courier and to also ride in the cab when going to school from Plymouth to Truro
