This Judy Collins YouTube channel is run by Phil Saviano in Boston. In the 1980s, he produced Judy's annual concerts at Boston's Symphony Hall and other New England venues. These days he oversees an extensive, personal archive of historic video clips originally recorded in Beta-HiFi. He has converted many of them to digital format, using the Canopus ADVC-300 digital converter. His goal is to preserve these performances for future generations, AND to share them with Judy's fans around the world, via YouTube. This channel is run with the cooperation of Judy Collins and Rocky Mountain Productions. Some of these clips are very rare and have come from the personal archives of Judy Collins. This collection of historic performances is a work in progress, and more videos will be added as time goes on.
